Welcome to the Seychelles Islands!

The Seychelles Islands is an archipelago of over 115 islands, located in the Indian ocean and is in close proximity to the equator. The island country neighbors many other island countries, e.g. Mauritius, Comoros, Reunion, Mayotte, Maldives and Madagascar and maintain close friendship ties with these countries.

The Seychelles' economy is hugely supported by its tourism industry, hundreds of thousands of visitors vacation in the islands each year. Some as a couple wanting to spend their honeymoon or maybe even hold their wedding in this exclusive paradise. Others want a break from their city life and choose Seychelles for its secluded villas, under-populated islands, tranquil environment and peaceful nature.

Despite being a very small group of islands with a very short history, there is a lot to do in Seychelles and there is a lot to learn. The natives are multilingual and are generally friendly and helpful to tourists, a large number of the working population is in the service and tourism sector. This ensures visitors make the most of their holiday with the help of the locals and the service industry.

Although Seychelles is considered to be a relatively expensive place to visit, it is one of a kind and more than a handful of expatriates living in the islands were once tourists who simply chose to make this place their permanent home!
